Insurance & Fees
What you’ll actually pay
We'll help you understand your benefits.
Insurance can be confusing. We'll verify your coverage and explain any costs beforehand, so there are no surprises.
Insurance & Fees
Copay or Coinsurance
Fixed fee per session
Once your deductible has been met, your insurance begins covering a portion of your therapy costs. At this stage, you'll typically pay either a fixed copay or a percentage of the session cost called coinsurance. This is usually a low fee.
A copay is a set amount you pay for each session, while coinsurance is a percentage of the session fee. Insurance covers the remaining balance.
Example
If your copay is $30, you'll pay $30 for each therapy session. If your coinsurance is 20%, you'll pay 20% of the session cost and your insurance will cover the remaining 80%.
How we Help
Before your first appointment, we'll verify your benefits and explain exactly what your copay or coinsurance will be. You'll know your expected cost ahead of time, so you can focus on your care rather than navigating insurance details.
Understanding How In-Network Costs Are Structured
Out-Of-Pocket Maximum
$0.00 per session
Your out-of-pocket maximum is the most you'll pay for covered healthcare expenses during your plan year. This amount includes any deductibles, copays, and coinsurance you've paid throughout the year.
Once you reach your out-of-pocket maximum, your insurance may cover 100% of eligible therapy sessions for the remainder of your plan year.
How we Help
We'll verify your benefits and explain how your out-of-pocket maximum may affect your therapy costs, so you always know what to expect.
Deductible
Some plans skip this and go straight to copay
A deductible is the amount you pay toward covered healthcare services before your insurance begins sharing the cost. Depending on your plan, you may be responsible for the full in-network session rate until your deductible has been met. Some insurance plans waive the deductible for mental health services, allowing you to move directly to a copay or coinsurance.
How we help
Before your first appointment, we'll verify your benefits and review your deductible status with your insurance provider. We'll explain your coverage clearly so you understand what to expect before beginning therapy
